Hipercept Sponsors iEARN Scholarships for Educators!
Hipercept is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of 25 scholarships for educators in a technology-focused iEARN online course this fall. Members of this professional development program will interact with participants from all over the world and cover the following topics:
- Principles of project-based learning
- Developing a global project plan
- Building relationships with educators and students through digital dialogue
- Embedding technology in project work
- Engaging the community in a classroom project
- Presenting, exhibiting, and assessing student learning in global projects
This program, along with the other online courses offered by iEARN, enables educators to communicate with colleagues from around the globe to make both teaching and learning a more rewarding experience for those involved. Participants will learn how to incorporate the Internet and other innovative technologies into their curriculums to help students better address global issues.
Lisa Georges, Director of Administration of Hipercept said, “We are very excited to sponsor the educators at iEARN. We are incredibly passionate about technology, and offering scholarships to educators who share that passion and will share it with others around the world, is a great opportunity for us to give back to the community.”
The mission of iEARN-USA is to enable young people worldwide, working in collaboration and dialogue, to make a meaningful contribution to the health and welfare of the planet and its people.
Applications for this program will be available on the iEARN-USA website starting in June, with the course set to start on September 15. If you are interested in participating or have questions about the program, you may contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
